I have taught myself how to Microblade without taking any Microblading Courses. Can I just do clients without the state finding out?
ANOTHER GREAT QUESTION! NO!!! The laws and statutes regarding Microblading were put into affect for a reason. Not only to protect the client but to protect the artist. You are required to be Certified as a Microblader in all states and international countries and some states and countries require a License as well. The most important reason is that it is ILLEGAL AND A CRIMINAL OFFENSE PUNISHABLE BY FINDS AND OR IMPRISONMENT.

Why is manual tool microblading better than "Nanobrows" or digital microblading?
The strokes are actually the same. It's related down to the pain aspect. Granted in both techniques the clients eyebrows are fully numb. But digital machines still produce a significant amount of discomfort the client will still feel. And it's all about the "Customers Experience." We want a favorable experience for all clients to ensure retention. Referrals from satisfied clients are the best marketing tools in the industry.

Do I need 100 hours of Training under an apprentice to become a Microblader?
Not necessarily, it depends on the state/county where you live. Many states separate PMU from semi-permanent microblading procedures. This works in your favor. PMU requirements are far harder to receive than semi-permanent microblading requirements. Refer to our list on the first page of the website. Most importantly, contact your local Health Department to find your state/county's requirements. ALWAYS, VERIFY THIS INFORMATION BEFORE YOU ENROLL.

Do I need experience or do I need to be an Esthetician or have a Cosmetology License?
No, you do not need any experience to become a Microblading Artist. Only a high school diploma/GED and be 18 years of age. Most importantly, you need to adhere to your state's requirements and regulations regarding licensing.
